Last updated 9 October 2026
The rules for using Flower of Fifths, kept short. By using the site, or by making an account, you agree to them.
The site
Flower of Fifths is a free set of guides and tools for learning music theory on the guitar, run by [name], [country]. You can use all of it without an account. If paid plans arrive, their terms are added to this page before anything is charged.
Your account
An account is for one person. Sign in with an email address that is yours, because whoever can open that inbox can sign in as you. You can stop using the site and delete your account whenever you like; the privacy page says how.
Using it fairly
Use the site to learn and to play. Please don't try to break it or overload it, get into anyone else's account, or copy the site wholesale to publish it as your own. An account that does any of these can be suspended.
What belongs to whom
The guides, the tools, the pictures and the code belong to Flower of Fifths. What you learn is yours to use anywhere you like: the music theory itself belongs to everyone. Your progress and your practice record are yours too.
No guarantees
A lot of care goes into getting the guides right and keeping the site running, but it comes as it is: there is no promise that it is free of mistakes or always available, and, as far as the law allows, no liability for losses that come from using it. None of this takes away the rights you have as a consumer where you live.
When these terms change
If something here changes in a way that matters to you, the date at the top changes with it. These terms are governed by the law of [country]. Questions go to [contact email].
